About the IC3600LSRA1
The IC3600LSRA1 is a printed circuit board (PCB) which is what is called a shift register circuit board. A shift register is a device which loads data from its inputs and shirts it to its output. Shift registers are used to store data and to move data. The IC3600LSRA1 is a component in the Mark I-II system of turbine controls. The Mark I and Mark II are the oldest systems in the Speedtronic Mark series. The Mark I was developed in 1967 and introduced commercially in 1969. The Mark II was introduced a few years later in 1973. The Mark series provides fully automated control of gas turbines. These series use what were the latest technologies to control, sequence, and protect the turbines.
The IC3600LSRA1 features a wide variety of electronic components. One medium-sized yellow capacitor is located directly in the center of the IC3600LSRA1. Many other capacitors which are rectangular and solid dark red can be found all throughout the IC3600LSRA1. These capacitors are positioned upright on the IC3600LSRA1’s surface. Numerous resistors can also be seen all over the IC3600LSRA1. These resistors are mid-sized and covered in multicolored bands. These bands signify the resistance capacity of each component. The bands on these resistors are red, blue, grey, gold, green, and many other colors. Several transistors can be found on the IC3600LSRA1. These transistors are small and solid black in color. A number of diodes which are very small and red in color are also featured on the IC3600LSRA1. Each component on the IC3600LSRA1 is labeled with a reference designator in white lettering.
