About the IC3600LSSA1
The IC3600LSSA1 is a PCB, or printed circuit board, which was made by General Electric (GE). This PCB is a component in the Mark I-II turbine control series. The Mark I and II were the first two system created in the Mark line. The Mark systems are responsible for controlling as well as automating the operations of gas turbines in industrial systems. The Mark series is in charge of controlling basic operations like startup, shutdown, and cooldown as well as the injection of fuels and water among other functions. The first Mark system, the Mark I (MKI), was introduced by General Electric in the late 1960s, specifically in 1968.
The IC3600LSSA1 features many different types of circuit board components on its surface. Two (2) large potentiometers are featured on the left half of the circuit board. These potentiometers are solid blue. They each contain a small dial which enables the operator to adjust their resistance as needed. Variable resistor is another name for a potentiometer. The IC3600LSSA1 contains many different types of capacitors. Two (2) large yellow capacitors are placed on the lower half of the circuit board. Each of these capacitors has a capacity of 200 volts DC (200VDC). This is printed on the outside of the capacitors in black writing. Below these two yellow capacitors is a large orange capacitor. All of these capacitors are round and solid in color. There are also many large rectangular capacitors featured on the board. These capacitors are dark red and solid in color.
