About the IC3600QOXA1
The IC3600QOXA1 by General Electric (GE) is a printed circuit board (PCB). GE created this board for the Speedtronic Mark I-II series. Mark I and Mark II were the two earliest incarnations of the Mark series which regulates and automates gas and steam turbines. The Mark I (MKI) was first introduced as early as 1968. The IC3600QOXA1 is what is called an over speed sensor card.
The IC3600QOXA1 prominently features one (1) large black transformer in the power left corner of the circuit board. This transformer is shaped like a rectangle. Two (2) large inductors or coils are also featured on the IC3600QOXA1. One of the inductors is located near the center of the board while the other is positioned at the top right corner. Near these two inductors, there is one (1) large metal oxide varistor (MOV). This metal oxide varistor is round and solid red. Several large capacitors are also found on the IC3600QOXA1. One of these capacitors is yellow and it is positioned near the middle of the board. There are also a few solid silver capacitors positioned in various areas. The IC3600QOXA1 also features many small transistors. A few of these transistors are round and made of silver metal while others are shaped like a half-circle and are black. Several resistors can be seen on the I3600QOXA1. Many of these resistors are brown with bands of brown, gold, black and other various colors. Other resistors are solid black in. On the left of the IC3600QOXA1, there is one (1) round red button. This button is labeled RESET. The word OVERSPEED is written on the outside of the part underneath the reset button.
