General Electric (GE) created the IC3600QOXA5 printed circuit board, or PCB, to be a component in the Speedtronic Mark I-II series. These series were the first two to be developed in the Speedtronic Mark line. The first of these series, Mark I, was introduced as early as 1968 in Long Island, NY. The Mark series are responsible for managing and automating all of the operations of gas turbines.
A wide variety electronic PCB components are featured on the IC3600QOXA5. On the very bottom of the IC3600QOXA5, there is a large relay (sometimes known as a contactor). Directly above this relay, there is a large black transformer. This transformer is labeled in white writing with its part number, which is 68A993083GL. Two large inductors, or coils, can be found at the top of the IC3600QOXA5. Each of these inductors consist of a coil of wire which is covered with a black plastic case. A large red MOV, or metal oxide varistor, is positioned next to these inductors. Several small transistors which are circular and made from silver metal can also be found throughout the IC3600QOXA5. A variety of yellow capacitors in various sizes are situated in various places around the IC3600QOXA5. Another capacitor which is silver in color can be found on the right edge of the IC3600QOXA5 next to a series of large metal prongs. Several wires are featured on the board in colors such as purple, yellow, green, and white. A variety of resistors are also featured on the IC3600QOXA5. These resistors are brown and feature bands in various colors such as red, yellow, white, grey, and others.
