About the IC3600QOXC7
General Electric (GE) developed the IC3600QOXC7 to be a component of the Mark I-II turbine control system. Mark I (MKI) and Mark II (MKII) were the earliest systems to be released in the Mark line. The Mark series are in charge of controlling and automating the functions of gas and steam turbines. These systems control essential operations such as startup and shutdown as well as regulate temperatures and the input of water and fuels.
The IC3600QOXC7 is a large rectangular printed circuit board (PCB). Attached to the left side of the board is a large metal plate. This plate contains a large red button and a large LED or light-emitting diode which is also red. A range of various electronic components can be seen on the surface of the printed circuit board itself. One (1) large rectangular transformer is positioned on the left side of the PCB adjacent to the metal plate. This transformer is solid black and features a white label which contains the component’s part number, 68A993985G1. Two (2) coils or inductors are positioned near the transformer. Inductors consist of a coil of wire which is covered with plastic. One of these inductors is large and solid blue in color. The other inductor is smaller and has a cover which is solid black. A number of various resistors can be found on the IC3600QOXC7. Most of these resistors are small and arranged in lines throughout the board. These small resistors have multi-colored bands in colors such as red, yellow, black, blue and others. There are also two (2) large resistors positioned near the center of the IC3600QOXC7. These two resistors are brown and also have bands in varying colors.
