About the IC3600SBMA1A
The IC3600SBMA1A was created by GE (General Electric) as part of the Speedtronic Mark I-II series. MKI and MKII two were created for the purposes of controlling and automating gas turbines. The first system, MKI, was released in 1968.
The IC3600SBMA1A features many different electronic components. Prominently featured near the middle of the circuit board, there is one (1) large inductor, also known as a coil. The inductor has a coil of wire inside of it and it is covered in black plastic. One large rectangular relay is positioned on the lower edge of the IC3600SBMA1A. The relay is gold and made of metal. The part number 68A997169A01 and the words “Coil 12 VDC” are written on top of the relay. Several capacitors in various colors can be seen on the IC3600SBMA1A. One (1) large black capacitor is positioned at the bottom left side of the IC3600SBMA1A. One (1) mid-sized gold capacitor is situated right above the black capacitor. Additional mid-sized yellow capacitors are positioned all around the IC3600SBMA1A board. A few mid-sized capacitors which are solid black can also be found on the IC3600SBMA1A. There are two (2) blue potentiometers can at the upper left corner of the IC3600SBMA1A. Potentiometers are sometimes known as variable resistors. Each of these potentiometers feature a small dial which can be adjusted to change the resistance of the device. The IC3600SBMA1A also has six (6) medium-sized resistors. The resistors are brown in color and also have a variety of bands in colors like brown, green, blue, gold, red, and orange. Also contained on the IC3600SBMA1A are several small black diodes.
