About the IC3600SCBC1A
General Electric (GE) created the IC3600SCBC1A PCB or printed circuit board to be a component of the Speedtronic MKII (Mark II) series. The Mark II is the second generation of the Mark series. These series were made to control and automate the functions of gas turbines such as startup, shutdown, cooldown, and the control of fuel and water injection. The IC3600SCBC1A is what is called a universal component printed circuit board (PCB).
The IC3600SCBC1A contains a number of various circuit board components. Four (4) large yellow capacitors are positioned on the IC3600SCBC1A. Each capacitor has a voltage of 200 VDC or volts DC. These four capacitors are solid yellow. Each capacitor has the part number X663F printed its surface in black print. These four (4) capacitors are located in the middle of the IC3600SCBC1A. On the right edge of the IC3600SCBC1A, there is a long line of metal prongs. These prongs are useful for connecting extra components to the IC3600SCBC1A printed circuit board. Each of the four (4) capacitors is attached by wires to small metal components on both sides which help to wire the board into the larger Mark II system. There are also two (2) small resistors featured in the center of the IC3600SCBC1A board. These resistors are black and banded in various colors like grey and gold. The resistors are also attached to the metal components with wire. A small solid resistor is also attached to the wires. This resistor is black in color.
