About the IC3600SCBD1A
General Electric (GE) created the IC3600SCBD1A printed circuit board (PCB) to be a part of the Mark II range of equipment for turbine control. Mark II (MKII) is the second generation of the Mark series which was made to control and automate the functions of gas turbines.
The IC3600SCBD1A features two large sections. The IC3600SCBD1A contains a large printed circuit board with a large attached metal plate. The printed circuit board features several various components. In the center of the IC3600SCBD1A near the bottom edge, there are two (2) large yellow capacitors. These two (2) capacitors are solid colored and they contain a voltage of 200VDC (volts DC). Both of the capacitors feature the part number X663F printed on the surface of the component. Five (5) resistors are featured on the upper half of the IC3600SCBD1A. Three (3) of the resistors are mid-sized. These resistors are brown with bands in various colors like black, brown, red, yellow, green, and gold. One (1) other mid-sized resistor is located underneath the banded resistors. This resistor is solid black. One (1) large resistor is located in the center of these mid-sized resistors. This large resistor is also brown with multi-colored colored bands. This resistor contains bands which are purple, gold, brown, and yellow. A number of large meters and dials are featured on the metal plate that is connected to the circuit board. There is one (1) large meter near the top of the metal plate which measures the device’s output voltage. A dial which is used to adjust gain is positioned underneath this voltage meter.
