About the IC3600SCBD2A
GE, or General Electric, created the IC3600SCBD2A to be a part of the Speedtronic Mark I-II (MKI-II) turbine control series. The Mark I and Mark II were the first two generations of the Mark series. These systems both control and automate the processes of gas turbines including essential functions like startup, shutdown, and cooldown as well as fuel and water injection.
The IC3600SCBD2A consists of two main parts: A printed circuit board (PCB) and a large metal plate which is attached to its left edge at a perpendicular angle. Three (3) large metal transistors are featured on this large metal plate. Each transistor is attached to the printed circuit board with grey wires. A number of small components are also featured on the IC3600SCBD2A. In the center of the printed circuit board, there are eight (8) mid-sized resistors. Each resistor is brown with various colored bands. These bands are brown, gold, white, red, orange, and yellow. Each resistor is attached to the surface of the circuit board with metal wires. There are also two (2) large yellow capacitors in the middle of the PCB. Both of these capacitors are labeled with the voltage 200V (200 volts DC). Each of these capacitors and resistors is designated with a letter from A through J. The circuit board is labeled on its upper edge with the part number IC3600SCBD2A. Many numbers are labeled on the IC3600SCBD2A in yellow writing. On the center of the back side of the circuit board, the number 68A989109G1 is written below the General Electric symbol.
