About the IC3600SCBD3
The IC3600SCBD3 is a part of the Speedtronic MKI (Mark I) and MKII (Mark II) series. This part is what is called a printed circuit board, or PCB. The Mark I and Mark II were the first two system created for the Mark series which controls gas and steam turbines. This line of controls was first introduced with the creation of the Mark I in 1968. The Mark systems regulate many processes inside turbines such as fuels, water, air emissions, startup and shutdown, and safety.
The IC3600SCBD3 contains a variety of electronic components. This part is made up of two distinct components. There is one large printed circuit board with a metal plate that has a metal plate attached to its side perpendicularly. Many components are found on the surface of the PCB. One yellow capacitor is located in the center of the board. This capacitor contains a voltage of 200 volts (200V). Another capacitor which is smaller is placed in the center of the lower edge of the IC3600SCBD3. A total of eight (8) resistors are positioned in the center of the IC3600SCBD3. These resistors are arranged in a vertical line among the capacitors. Each resistor is brown and contains a number of multi-colored bands. These bands may be brown, yellow, red, orange, white, gold, or black in color. There are two lines of metal cubes running along either side of these components. These parts are used to wire the IC3600SCBD3 into the rest of the system. All of the resistors and capacitors on the IC3600SCBD3 are connected to the metal cubes with wire.
