About the IC3600SCBM2
The IC3600SCBM2 is a printed circuit board (PCB) which was produced for the Speedtronic Mark I-II line of turbine controls. The Mark I and Mark II were the first two systems made for the Mark series. The first Mark I system was installed in 1968 in Long Island, NY. This series is in charge of managing as well as automating turbine processes.
The IC3600SCBM2 contains many electronic circuit board components. A series of metal prongs is lined up along the right side of the circuit board. These metal prongs are used to connected the IC3600SCBM2 board to the rest of the system. Lined up directly next to these metal prongs is a series of ten (10) metal components which are shaped like cubes. These components are used to wire the IC3600SCBM2 into the larger turbine system. A line of ten (10) capacitors is positioned next to these metal pieces. Each capacitor is medium-sized and mostly silver in color with red on one end. Sitting on the other side of these capacitors is another series of ten (10) cube-shaped metal components. Ten (10) small resistors can be found on the left side of the IC3600SCBM2 next to the metal cubes. These resistors are banded in various colors. The bands on each component signify the resistance capacity of the device. Finally, on the far left end of the IC3600SCBM2, there is another line of ten (10) cube-shaped metal components. These components, and all of the others like it, wire the IC3600SCBM2 into the rest of the system.
