About the IC3600SFKC1
IC3600SFKC1
The Speedtronic gas turbine control system was a series of circuit board input modules that premiered their first model in the late 1960s. Specifically, in 1968, in a gas turbine unit in Long Island, New York, and then in the following year, the first model became mass produced and available for the public to purchase. The Speedtronic control system is designed to employ standard options such as unattended, remote utility peaking for the gas turbines, base loading the industrial generator drives, and remote pipeline pump stations.
The design of the IC3600SFKC1 was conceived after nearly ten years of prototyping, testing, development and re-designing of other models. This model of the Speedtronic General Electric gas turbine control system is designed to perform several functions including fuel designation and level control, air and emissions monitoring and management. The IC3600SFKC1 provides auxiliary system sequencing in order for the turbine’s startup, shutdown and cooldown abilities to operate successfully.
In addition, the IC3600SFKC1 model handles voltage matching and synchronization of the generator and the turbine’s control system.
