This Mk. II module, built and developed by General Electric, is a Fuel Valve Control Card, and given the designation “IC3600SFKK1.” These cards are of a series of A/C input model control systems, and designed for tasks such as carrying out control and protection functions, and sequencing outputs such as air emission and fuel and voltage leveling. These models achieve a reliable function through managing temperature and speed control. These models are capable of performing and high speeds, having fast response times, and virtually with no dead band, and are able to perform thanks to the use of high resolution hydraulic servos components.
The IC3600SFKK1 model circuit board is a designated for fuel control. On the heavy duty General Electric gas turbines, the liquid fuel system operates by utilizing a positive displacement fuel pump, which includes a bypass valve as well as the main pump, if the need to slow down occurs. The flow divider makes equal flow to each combustion chamber possible. The IC3600SFKK1 is installed in order to control the pair of valves to assure that the fuel pumps and valves operate smoothly.
The IC3600SFKK1 circuit board is also meant to utilize the gas turbine’s pressure transducer module, which compares the transducer module’s output signal to the command signal it interacts with (and both of these signals are proportional to the gas turbine’s speed), which then also connects to the turbine’s servo actuator to maintain the connection’s speed.
