About the IC3600SFUA1C
This circuit board is one of the many series from General Electric’s Speedtronic line of turbine control systems. The Speedtronic Control series was a line of circuit boards and control units developed to better manage and operate General Electric’s gas turbine modules. In 1968, the very first of these Speedtronic modules were designed and tested on a turbine model located on Long Island, in New York. Soon after, they were greenlit by General Electric, and then they began production on releasing the modules to the public. By 1972, the Speedtronic series had been bought by at least 118 smaller industrial companies, worldwide, and through the constant performance of over 300 Speedtronic controlled gas turbines, were able to rack up to over 500,000 hours of efficient, high-quality performance. The Speedtronic series are designed to be compatible with all of General Electric’s heavy-duty, industrial turbines.
The IC3600SFUA1C is an alternate current Input Module, built to perform several functions including fuel, air, and emissions control; sequencing of turbine fuel and auxiliaries for the startup, shutdown, and cooldown; synchronization and voltage matching of the generator and system; monitoring of all turbine, control, and auxiliary functions; and protection against unsafe and adverse operating conditions. The IC3600SFUA1C control module is able to manage all of the parameters of the turbine’s acceleration and speed, temperature, and start-up and load management.
