About the IC3600SPPA1
The IC3600SPPA1 is a board component that fits into General Electric’s Mark II Speedtronic system. This was one of the first of the Speedtronic systems offered by General Electric for the control of industrial steam turbines, offered before the development of their TMR Mark IV system. While the Mark II does not offer the distributed control of the Mark IV, it still had a reputation for reliable control of industrial turbine systems.
This board is no longer available through the OEM now that it has reached legacy status. However, AX Control works hard to maintain on-hand stock of this product so that we can more effectively and efficiently fulfill your orders. Most orders placed with us by 3 pm on one of our working days will ship out before the end of the day.
The IC3600SPPA1 is a small rectangular board connected to a front faceplate. The faceplate has several potentiometers mounted to its surface, allowing for easy access to these components and allowing the user to make adjustments to these devices. Other potentiometers are located elsewhere on the board, along with several transistors, MOVs, capacitors, and resistors. The rear surface of the IC3600SPPA1 is taken up by a multi-toothed backplane connector.
Additional information regarding this board, its use, and specifically how to maintain and install the component into a Mark II system can be found using original General Electric documentation like manuals and user guides. While these publications shipped with your OEM purchase, AX Control understands that sometimes documents are misplaced. If you require replacements, let us know.
