About the IC3600SSIA1
The IC3600SSIA1 is a PCB or printed circuit board which was made by General Electric (GE). This product is a component in the Speedtronic Mark I-II turbine control series. The Mark I and Mark II were the earliest series from GE’s Mark line. The Mark series have been used to regulate and automate the processes of gas turbines for decades since the introduction of the Mark I in 1969. The Mark systems can automate all processes of gas turbines. The Mark series controls gas, water, and steam input. Processes like startup and shutdown, as well as acceleration, speed, temperature, and load are controlled by the Mark series. The Mark systems has built-in systems which ensure the safety of both the turbine equipment and the people who operate it.
The IC3600SSIA1 features four (4) black capacitors on the left side of the printed circuit board near the edge. In the middle of these black capacitors, there is one (1) yellow capacitor. Along the left edge of the IC3600SSIA1, there is a series of dark red resistors. Many other resistors and capacitors are also featured throughout the IC3600SSIA1. These components come in solid black and solid red. Eight (8) transistors which are round are arranged in a line across the center of the IC3600SSIA1. These transistors are black and silver. Several white wires stretch across the right half of the IC3600SSIA1 connecting components. The IC3600SSIA1 features a long series of metal prongs along the right edge of the printed circuit board. The prongs can be used to connect the IC3600SSIA1 into the rest of the turbine control system.
