About the IC3600SSIB1
The IC3600SSIB1 is what is known as a control board assembly. This is a sort of printed circuit board or PCB made for the Mark I-II series by General Electric (GE). The Mark I and Mark II are series within the larger Mark line by General Electric. These series were created to control the operations of gas turbine systems. The Mark products have been in use consistently since the Mark I was first introduced in 1969.
The IC3600SSIB1 printed circuit board is almost completely covered with electronic circuit board components. One (1) capacitor which is yellow and large may be located midway on the left edge of the IC3600SSIB1. This yellow capacitor is lying horizontally against the IC3600SSIB1’s surface. Several other yellow capacitors are positioned on the IC3600SSIB1. Most of these are sitting vertically on the board’s surface. These capacitors are grouped together on the lower half of the IC3600SSIB1. One (1) capacitor which is large but silver rather than yellow is also lying on the surface of the IC3600SSIB1 close to the middle. Also placed on the IC3600SSIB1 is a variety of resistors. The majority of these resistors are relatively large. Most of them contain a series of bands that may be white, red, brown, black, and many other colors. Two (2) large black potentiometers have been attached to the IC3600SSIB1. These have been placed on the lower half of the left side near the bottom. At least two (2) other resistors which are similar in size to the brown banded ones are sitting close to the top. These are mostly blue in color.
