About the IC3600SSKB1
The IC3600SSKB1 is a device which is known as a start-up control card. This is a type of PCB or printed circuits board. The IC3600SSKB1 was manufactured by General Electric or GE to be a part of the Mark I-II series. The Speedtronic Mark I and Mark II were the earliest incarnations of General Electric’s Mark line, released into the market for commercial use in 1969 and 1973 respectively.
The IC3600SSKB1 consists of a large printed circuit board and a large metal plate which is attached to its left side. This plate contains several different large components. A large knob which is adjustable is situated at the top of the plate. On the other side of the plate, this knob is attached to the surface of the card with a series of white wires. Three (3) smaller components which are made of silver metal are placed in the center of the plate while a fourth is positioned on the plate’s left end. All of these smaller components are also attached to the card using white wires. The printed circuit board portion contains a number of various electronic components. Lined up along the right edge of the IC3600SSKB1 is a collection of metal prongs which are numbered one (1) to fifty-one (51) with numbers in yellow print. Situated along the left border are three (3) potentiometers or variable resistors which are blue. Every potentiometer includes a dial which is used to adjust the part’s resistance. An opening is cut into the metal plate in front of each knob to allow access.
