About the IC3600SSKC1E1B
General Electric (GE) created the IC3600SSKC1E1B and all of the other parts in the Mark I-II series to fulfill all of the requirements of gas turbine management. The IC3600SSKC1E1B is what is called a startup calibration card. The Mark I and Mark II are the oldest two series in the Mark line. This line has been used to manage and automate industrial turbines for several decades.
The IC3600SSKC1E1B features a large printed circuit board (PCB) as well as a large metal plate. The metal plate contains a large grey knob at the top. This knob features the numbers 0 through 10 and may be adjusted depending on the requirements of the system. There are also six large red buttons positioned on the metal plate. These buttons are round and are used for various purposes. All of the components featured on the metal plate portion of the IC3600SSKC1E1B are connected to the surface of the printed circuit board by a series of white wires. On the printed circuit board portion, there are a number of different components. Five blue potentiometers are on the IC3600SSKC1E1B next to the metal plate. Because potentiometers contain a small knob which can be used to adjust the resistance of the device, they are also known as variable resistors. Many capacitors can also be found on the IC3600SSKC1E1B. Some of these capacitors are large and silver while others may be smaller and yellow in color. Many transistors are also on the IC3600SSKC1E1B along with a variety of resistors which are light blue and contain multicolored bands.
