About the IC3600SVFA1A
The IC3600SVFA1A board component is part of the Mark II system from General Electric. This board functions as a replacement printed circuit board and were originally sold by GE. While it is no longer available from the OEM, it is typically ready to ship from AX Control on-hand stock. Talk to our staff for more information about up-to-date inventory numbers and to get more information regarding the surplus and reconditioned status of parts.
The IC3600SVFA1A is used within a Speedtronic Calibrator/simulator. It accepts a voltage through a signal conditioner or a switch output on the board via an external potentiometer in order to control a variable frequency sine wave output. This is used to simulate the speed signal for the turbine shaft.
The circuit on this board can be broken down into an integrator, a switch-hysteresis, a shaper, and a signal conditioner. The integrator will integrate inputs and also reverse polarity until the hysteresis switch returns to its original condition, generating a triangular wave at the integrator output. This is then fed to the shaper. The board uses potentiometers, diodes switches, capacitors, and resistors.
In most situations, the IC3600SVFA1A board will work in conjunction with the IC4988A100 calibrator and boards like the IC3600EPSS and IC3600SCZA. For additional information about these components, or for a detailed look at installation or handling guidelines for the IC3600SVFA1A, please refer to original GE documentation like manuals and user guides. AX Control may be able to provide replacement copies of these documents if you no longer have your originals.
