About the IC3600SVSA1C
The IC3600SVSA1C was made to be a component in the Mark I and Mark II turbine management series by GE (General Electric). These series were the first introduced in the Speedtronic Mark turbine control line. The Mark I was released in 1969, four years before the Mark II in 1973. Mark products manage and automate the processes of gas turbines as well as ensure the safety of both equipment and operators. Mark series systems have been in use for decades across many different industries.
Six (6) blue potentiometers are lined up along the left side of the IC3600SVSA1C. Sometimes called variable resistors, potentiometers feature small knobs which may be adjusted when needed. Three (3) black capacitors are also positioned on this PCB. Two of these are paired together near the center of the board and the third is sitting at the bottom edge. One small yellow capacitor is sitting near the top left corner of the IC3600SVSA1C which is connected to the board by a long wire. A number of transistors which are black can be seen all over the IC3600SVSA1C in various places. Many brown resistors which have bands in different colors have been placed all over the IC3600SVSA1C. The colors of these bands including brown, red, green, gold, purple, orange, red, yellow, and grey. A metal plate which spans the length of the IC3600SVSA1C is attached to its left side. This plate has six (6) holes which provide openings for the potentiometers’ knobs. These opening are labeled 14HS-PU, 14HS-NDO, 14HS-UFDO, 14HA-PU, 14MH-NPU, and 14HM-FSPU.
