About the IC3600SVSD1
The IC3600SVSD1 is a printed circuit board or PCB manufactured by General Electric (GE) to be a part of their Speedtronic Mark I-II series. The Mark I and Mark II series were the first versions of the Speedtronic line of gas turbine controls. TheSpeedtronic systems regulate all aspects of turbine operation as well as taking care of the troubleshooting and safety of both people and equipment. The IC3600SVSD1 is what is known as a speed sensor card.
The IC3600SVSD1 is a large circuit board which is rectangular in shape. A series of metal prongs which spans the entire length of the top border is featured on the IC3600SVSD1. The metal prongs have been labeled on the board’s surface with numbers that are written in white writing. Three (3) large capacitors which are solid black can be found in various places on the IC3600SVSD1. One (1) of these capacitors are located at the center of the bottom of the PCB. Sitting right next to this black capacitor is one (1) potentiometer or variable resistor which is solid blue. A variable resistor contains a knob which gives the operator the opportunity to adjust the component’s resistance.
The other two (2) black capacitors are paired together next to the right side border. A variety of other capacitors may be seen on the IC3600SVSD1. A large orange capacitor is placed near the lower right corner. The capacitor’s part number and voltage is printed on the outside. Next to this is a smaller capacitor that is solid white. Several solid yellow capacitors are positioned around the IC3600SVSD1.
