About the IC3600TDUA1
The IC3600TDUA1 is a PC Board component for the Mark I and Mark II Speedtronic gas/steam turbine management systems designed for the management of heavy-duty turbine setups. These were the first two of the Speedtronic systems released by General Electric, the MKI in 1969 and the MKII in 1973. Both systems used the most current technology available at the time of release to create systems that were adaptable, scalable, easy to use, and would be long-lasting. Both systems were built on a framework that focused on four primary areas: the control, the protection systems, the sequencing of the turbine and creating an independent power supply. In the four decades since their release, these systems have become obsolete due to the release of newer systems under the Speedtronic umbrella.
The IC3600TDUA1 has a narrow silver front panel with three red LEDs. It is built with two oval cutouts, one at the top and one at the bottom. It is connected by two screw mounts.
The IC3600TDUA1 has two transistors, one at the top of the board and one at the bottom. It has seven integrated circuits which are dual operational amplifiers. These have differential voltage ranges and a wide common-mode. The board has fixed vacuum diodes and metal film resistors on the board placed in staggered lines. The board uses capacitors of varying materials. It also uses surface wiring.
The board is marked with the GE trademark, with the code CWF, and with the board id number. It is drilled in two corners to allow for mounting.
