About the IC3600TFCU1C1B
The IC3600TFCU1C1B is a Firing Circuit Board for the Mark I and Mark II series from GE. These systems were released by GE in 1969 and 1973 respectively and were the first of the Speedtronic steam/gas turbine management systems. Both focused on creating programs that made the most current technology (at the time of release) accessible and easy to use, within systems that were scalable and long-lasting. Both systems focus on control of the turbine output power, sequencing of the auxiliaries and parameters, providing a protective shutdown system, and monitoring and annunciating malfunctions. GE no longer supports either of these systems, as they became obsolete with the release of more advanced versions within the Speedtronic line. Yet the MKI and MKII continue to be used by many facilities.
The IC3600TFCU1C1B is built with two potentiometers. It has fourteen black transistors and four silver transistors. These components are individually designated. The board uses both metal film and carbon composite resistors; resistor designations begin at R1 and go as high as R102. Diodes are designated as “CR.” Capacitors may be polyester vinyl (708D1 +/- 5% 200V) or other material.
The IC3600TFCU1C1B is drilled for mounting in two locations. It is marked 006/05, JVC, 002/01, 278A4519, and 003/01.
The IC3600TFCU1C1B will ship in a static-reducing sleeve. Before unboxing your new part, please review safety data and other pertinent information in any publications you have retained from the original manufacturer. Manuals and data sheets may be good resources for information. Only qualified technicians should install and maintain this equipment.
