About the IC3600TGDD1
The IC3600TGDD1 is a GE FANUC component for the Mark I/Mark II series for gas/steam turbine management. Both of these series were designed around a framework consisting of four major parts, including a control system, turbine protection, sequencing, and an independent power back up. General Electric designed each of these sections to have redundant back-ups as much as possible to increase the reliability of the system. While both the MKI and the MKII are now considered obsolete and no longer receive support from GE, they are still in active use in many places around the world.
The IC3600TGDD1 is built with two round transformers centered in the middle of the board. These components are both marked as “T1,” and have several colored wires radiating from the component to through-hole connections labeled by color (for example, a black wire connects to a through-hole connection labeled “BK.”) The transformers are marked as 125 VAC. They are marked C21201 0401308. The board also includes four smaller black components that line up along one of the long sides of the board that are labeled T1 through T4.
The IC3600TGDD1 has eight carbon composite resistors of varying resistance. The board has two diodes, made of ceramic material, and two polyester vinyl capacitors. The capacitors are marked 200V .50 +/-20% 708A1.
The IC3600TGDD1 is marked with the GE trademark logo, with the board ID number, and with the code 68A99425G1. The board is drilled in two corners. Numbering is used on one edge under a line of pins. This board functions as a gate driver.
