About the IC3600TILA1A
The IC3600TILA1A is a PCB component created for the Mark I or the Mark II series from GE. These were the first of the Speedtronic series for gas and steam turbine management released by General Electric. Over four decades of service managing systems as large as nuclear power plants to as small as a single 4000 hp unit, the MKI and MKII have become obsolete by the release of newer, more advanced systems within the Speedtronic line (from the MKIV to the MKVIe.) Yet even without support from the original equipment manufacturer, many of these systems continue to be used in many places around the world due to GE’s original design focus of creating systems that were scalable, adaptable, and long-lasting.
The IC3600TILA1A is built with five integrated circuits that function as two-input NAND gates. Each of these circuits is marked as “IC1.” The board has six transistors that are all marked as “Q1.” The board has one potentiometer. It has one ceramic disc capacitor. This is marked ‘Erie JZ Y5U 25V.” Several lines of resistors and diodes populate the board. Most are attached to the board vertically.
The IC3600TILA1A functions as an Inverter Limit Board. It is marked with the GE trademark and is numbered on one edge, which is populated by a parallel line of metal pins which function as a communication device.
The IC3600TILA1A will be shipped from our warehouse protected by a static-reducing sleeve. If publications like data sheets and manuals have been retained, these may be good resources for information on installation and safety procedures.
