About the IC3600TLFC1A
The IC3600TLFC1A is a component designed to fit the Mark I series from GE. The IC3600TLFC1A can also work as a component for the Mark II. GE began developing a gas and steam turbine management system for their heavy-duty turbines in the mid-1960s, with the aim of creating an adaptable management system that could scale to work for all types of turbine systems, regardless of complexity. The Mark I was the initial result of this development and was released in 1969. The Mark II followed with additional technological improvements in 1973. Both of these systems are capable of the management of turbine systems as simple as a single unmanned pumping station and as complex as a full power 400 Mw power plant. General Electric no longer supports the Mark I or the Mark II. These early systems were made obsolete by continued development and the release of later Speedtronic systems like the Mark IV to Mark VIe. However, many MKI/MKII systems remain in use today.
The IC3600TLFC1A functions as a Phase Shift card. It has four capacitors, including three aluminum electrolytic capacitors that are marked 68A7097-P2 .5 MFD +/-1% 300VDC SEC 4262-2. The board also has eighteen resistors. Twelve resistors are placed on the board in two lines of six. These components are marked 1680Ω .25% CTG D5 CG-8 3.25W. The board also has six smaller resistors, including one carbon composite resistor.
The IC3600TLFC1A carries the GE logo. It is drilled in two corners and numbered on a single edge. The code 68A999162G1 appears on the back surface of the board.
