About the IC3600TLFC1C
The IC3600TLFC1C is a component for the Mark I and Mark II series from GE. The Mark I and Mark II are designed with a control panel that has several possible arrangements to meet all possible applications. These panels also serve as a human/machine interface with the turbine. These systems perform specific functions, including controlling output power from the turbine, limiting that output to keep it within the unit’s capability, sequencing auxiliaries and parameters during startup, providing an emergency shutdown that protects the turbine and its auxiliaries, and annunciating/monitoring any malfunctions within the system. While the Mark I and Mark II are now considered obsolete and do not receive support from GE, there are many facilities that still use these systems.
The IC3600TLFC1C has three large capacitors of aluminum electrolytic material, and one other capacitor of other material. The three capacitors are marked .5 MFD +/-1% 300VDC. These components have an ‘X’ marked on the board on both sides. There are twelve resistors in two lines of six. Each of these is marked 3.25W 1680Ω .25%. The board also has six smaller resistors that include one carbon composite resistor. The board is printed with several silver traces that connect empty through-holes. Numbering appears on one board edge. The code 68A999162G1 appears on the rear of the board.
The IC3600TLFC1C will be protected by a static-reducing sleeve before it is carefully packed for shipment. If publications like manuals from GE have been retained, please review these for information regarding installation and safety procedures before unboxing your new component.
