About the IC3600TPAB1
The IC3600TPAB1 is a GE FANUC component for the Mark I and Mark II series from GE. Both of these series were released by General Electric for the management of heavy-duty gas and steam turbines, and have now been in use for several decades. The focus of both systems at the time of their original creation was to use the most advanced technology available at that time to create a management system for heavy-duty turbines that could be scaled for systems of varying sizes and complexities that would be easy to use, adaptable for the needs of the end user regardless of who that was, and would make the turbines run more efficiently. General Electric succeeded in these goals. So, even though the Mark I and Mark II are now technologically obsolete and no longer supported by the OEM, they are still being used by many facilities around the world due to the solidness of their original design.
The IC3600TPAB1 functions as a Gate Amp board. It has a total of eighteen transistors of three different designs. It has five integrated circuits on its surface. It has carbon composite resistors of varying size and resistance, placed on the board in several lines. The board uses aluminum electrolytic capacitors as well as capacitors of other material. Diodes tend to be ceramic. Many of these components are placed on the board in a vertical position.
The IC3600TPAB1 is marked with several codes, including 68A999168G1. Numbering appears on one edge. The board has drill holes in two corners.
