About the IC3600TRAA1
The IC3600TRAA1 is a component for the Mark I and Mark II series from GE. These systems were developed for the management of heavy-duty gas and steam turbines and focused on improving the reliability and efficiency of these turbines. While the Speedtronic series began with the Mark I and Mark II, both systems are now considered obsolete due to the release of more recent Speedtronic management systems like the MKV and MKVI.
The IC3600TRAA1 functions as an Amplifier card. This board is populated by many components. One edge is populated by twenty-six metal pins. The edge under these pins is numbered 2, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50. These pins are designed as a communication device to allow the board to transfer data to the rest of the system.
The IC3600TRAA1 is built with two potentiometers located along one edge. These may be used to calibrate circuits. Capacitors are located on each side of the potentiometers. Two of these are TRW X6663 1.0 5% capacitors. The board has two large bi-polar transistors located in two corners. These are fitted in heat sinks. Eight transistors are located in two lines near the center of the board. The board has both carbon composite and metal film resistors.
The IC3600TRAA1 is marked with the codes 0207A1303, TRAA1, 68A989784G1, and the round GE logo. Most components carry a number and a component designator. The board is factory drilled in two corners.
