About the IC3600TSUC1
The IC3600TSUC1 is an Amplifier card for the Mark I or Mark II series. These series were designed by GE to manage heavy-duty turbine systems more efficiently, and while both have been made obsolete by the continued development of more advanced systems and are no longer supported by GE. However, both systems are still in use by many facilities. The MKI/MKII can be used in temps ranging from plus to minus fifty degrees Celsius and have a scalable configuration which makes they capable of managing everything from single unit 4000 hp systems up to 400 Mw power plants.
The IC3600TSUC1 is built with a front silver colored panel which has two small slot openings in the top and bottom corners. This front panel has a single toggle switch and a single push button. The push button is marked “Reset.”
The IC3600TSUC1 is marked with the code 68A989814G1 and the IC3600TSUC1 board number. The board is populated by a large square transformer marked T1. Next to this is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor. The board has one other aluminum electrolytic capacitor. The board is built with one transistor, four horizontal carbon composite resistors and two metal film resistors that have been mounted vertically. The board has thirteen ceramic diodes and two diodes that are made of different material. These diodes are larger and more complex. This board also has a communication device made from a line of right-angled metal pins attached to one edge of the board.
