About the IC3600TSUD1
The IC3600TSUD1 is a component that is designed as a Supp/Bias Card for the Mark I and Mark II series for gas or steam heavy-duty turbine management. The MKI and MKII have both been in use for over forty years (the MKI since 1969, the MKII since 1973) to manage turbine systems ranging in size from single unit unmanned systems up to entire power plants rated to 400 Mw combined cycles. Both systems were designed using the most advanced technology available at the time of their release, which is why, even though they are not supported by GE any longer and are now considered technologically obsolete, they are still viable systems in use today by many different facilities.
The IC3600TSUD1 is built with a narrow front panel that connects to the PCB via two screw mounts. This panel has a single red LED component that is marked “SUPP.” and a push button that is marked “reset.” It also has an oval opening at the top and bottom of the silver colored panel. The IC3600TSUD1 has surface wiring connecting the board to the components in the front panel. It also uses surface wiring to connect one of the screw mounts to the other side of the board where it attaches to one pin in a parallel line of fifty-one.
The IC3600TSUD1 has eleven transistors of two designs. It has three integrated circuits, including Dual 4-input NAND gates and Quadruple 2-input NAND gates. It has capacitors made from aluminum electrolytic material and ceramic material. One ceramic capacitor is marked +80% -20% YSU 25V. The electrolytic capacitors are marked 200 μf 12 VDC 1886934.
