About the IC3600VANB1
The IC3600VANB1 is a GE FANUC component for the Mark I/Mark II series. These first two Speedtronic series for gas/steam turbine management were introduced by General Electric over four decades ago, and have been in constant use somewhere in the world since that time. No longer supported by GE due to the development of newer systems within the Speedtronic line, the MKI and MKII continue in use due to GE’s original focus on creating systems that were long-lasting, scalable and adaptable. And while the systems may be considered technologically obsolete today, at the time of their release GE used the most technologically advanced materials and designs to create series that could last.
The IC3600VANB1 functions as an Annunciator Control Card. It is built with ten integrated circuits, including hex inverter chips. It has seven transistors located to the right of these circuits. Transistors sit in line with polyester vinyl capacitors (three of the five on the board,) and metal film resistors, as well as diodes. Most of these components are mounted to the board vertically. The board also uses two aluminum electrolytic capacitors and one ceramic capacitor.
The IC3600VANB1 is marked with the codes ADS, A, SBH, 68A844515, 002/02, and 006/04. Most components are marked with a designator. The board carries the GE “USA” round logo. One edge of the board is numbered.
The IC3600VANB1 will be wrapped in a static-reducing sleeve and carefully packed before it is shipped to you. Please refer to retained manuals or data sheets for installation information and safety data. These should be reviewed before your new part is unboxed.
