About the IC3600VCDA1
The IC3600VCDA1 is a Mark II clock Driver board. This is a board component designed by General Electric to fit into the company’s second Speedtronic system for the management and control of industrial gas and steam turbine systems. The Mark II is designed with components mounted in roll-out racks that have receptacles for the individual cards to connect and plug into. The boards connect in using wire-wrap connections across their multi-pin backplane connectors.
The IC3600CDA1 is a small board built on an extending substratum. The board itself has few components. These include eight integrated circuits that line up across the center long axis of the board. There is a single capacitor mounted between IC #4 and IC #5. Additionally, there is another component mounted near the side of IC #2. Other than these components, the board is empty except for the multi-pin backplane connector.
The board is marked with several codes and with the board ID number. It also carries the GE logo. Some boards also carry revision information, but this will change from board to board.
