About the IC3600VMPA1
The IC3600VMPA1 is a circuit board produced by General Electric. The IC3600VMPA1 is featured in the Mark I and Mark II line. The IC3600VMPA1 has eight integrated circuits. The integrated circuits are used to hold all the data and programming for the circuit board to function. The integrated circuits and split into two groups known as EPROM and EEPROMs. They both hold the programming, however; the EPROMs can be updated as new programming becomes available while the EEPROMs cannot. The IC3600VMPA1 has three yellow capacitors, two square red capacitors, and one red circular capacitor. These capacitors create an electrical field to store extra energy for the circuit board to use later. The IC3600VMPA1 has over fifty metal male pins. These metal pins are used to connect the IC3600VMPA1 to the surrounding set up. The IC3600VMPA1 has over twenty stripped resistors. These stripped resistors are used to slow down the flow of energy throughout the circuit board. The IC3600VMPA1 has one circular silver transistor and around six small black transistors. A transistor is used to amplify or change electrical power or electronic signals. The IC3600VMPA1 also features several types of diodes. A diode is a component that controls the flow of energy. Energy can only flow in one direction through a diode.
