About the IC3606SIIA9A
The IC3606SIIA9A is an Isolator board that is part of the Mark I and Mark II series. The Mark I and Mark II series is manufactured by General Electric. The IC3606SIIA9A has eighteen large stripped resistors, around forty small stripped resistors. These resistors are used to restrict the flow of energy throughout the circuit board. The IC3606SIIA9A have three yellow capacitors and nine small red square capacitors. Capacitors are used to generate an electrical field which is then used to store excess energy for the IC3606SIIA9A to use later. The IC3606SIIA9A has ten small integrated circuits. The integrated circuits are the brains of the IC3606SIIA9A. They hold any and all programming and data for this circuit board to operate properly. The integrated circuits are split into two separate groups. These groups are known as EPROM and EEPROM. While both of these groups hold the programs and data the EPROM can be updated with the latest data and programs through a tiny circle on the top, while the EEPROM doesn’t have a tiny circle and can not be updated at all. The IC3606SIIA9A has around twenty small circular grey diodes. A diode is used to control energy flow because a diode only allows energy to flow in a single direction through it. The IC3606SIIA9A has twelve metal male terminals that are used to connect the IC3606SIIA9A with other circuit boards. The metal male terminals are at various height levels both vertically and horizontally.
