About the DS3800
DS3800 is the basic board component number for Mark IV printed circuit boards. The Mark IV control system was the first TMR (triple modular redundant) control system for gas and steam turbines offered by General Electric within their popular Speedtronic series. While Mark IV components can no longer be sourced from the OEM, many of these boards can be purchased from AX Control, where we maintain large numbers of in-stock Speedtronic components.
The Mark IV Speedtronic system includes an Operator Interface module that is used to communicate with the turbine system. This module interface includes membrane switches for input as well as an emergency stop pushbutton. The Speedtronic system offers a panel-mounted printer for automatic logging and print outs of selected parameters.
The Mark IV offers various alarming options including Alarm Lockout, Alarm Logging, and various diagnostics. Displaying options also include administrative lists that allow for time/date data, scale sets, security codes, control identity selection, and PROM ids.
A full list of our Mark IV inventory can be found here. Some components may be available as both unused, new-in-box surplus as well as reconditioned used components. We are happy to provide quotes on both options if they are available.
