About the DS3800DBIB1
The DS3800DBIB1 manufactured by GE is a small printed circuit board (PCB) designed as a component of a Speedtronic Mark IV system. The Mark IV system was designed to be modular and affordable with built-in redundancies between chipsets. This allows for the expected occasional electronics failure within a module without the failure of the turbine system as a whole, as control of the system is shifted as needed until repairs can be made to a failing part. The Speedtronic Mark IV can be used for emissions, air or fuel control, shutdown procedures, or cool-down procedures. The DS3800DB1B1 card is designed to be used as an interface board.
The DS3800DBIB1 is an auxiliary daughterboard designed to plug into a larger PCB. It has four connectors for that use embedded in the board, numbered 1 through 4. It has also been drilled out at the factory with one hole at each corner of the board for another mounting option. The DS3800DBIB1 has a total of ten 5-banded resistors and six CR capacitors mounted on its board. There is also on polypropylene capacitor. This is marked C100 and is rated 708A1, M/E 200V 1.0+10%. There is a blue potentiometer (3069P-1 103 10K,) rated 10K Ohm, located on the bottom edge of the board.
AxControl recommends referring to the original manufacturer's data sheet and/or manual before attempting installation or maintenance of the DS3800DBIB1. Please follow all safety and installation procedures recommended by the original manufacturer to avoid damage to electronics or personal injury.
