About the DS3800DFPF
The DS3800DFPF is part of the Mark IV Speedtronics series by General Electric (GE). The DS3800DFPF features eleven blue colored resistors. Each resistor has different colors on it to show the amount of energy that can flow through each one. There are also seven light blue diodes and two light grey diodes. There are also two large silver diodes and two large black diodes. There are also two long ten prong capacitors on the DS3800DFPF. The DS3800DFPF also has two red-colored rectangular capacitors. The board has eight receiving pins (gold) for connecting two boards together. These are numbered. The DS3800DFPF also has four EEPROM which holds the circuit boards programming. The EEPROMs are not able to be re-programmed. The DS3800DFPF also has two ribbon harnesses. The one along the upper edge of the board is larger. The top one has a light blue plastic connector that holds it to the board and a black terminal on the other end. The second ribbon harness is smaller and has a black plastic connector the attaches it to the board and a small black connector that attaches to another board. The circuit board itself is a pale green. Each piece on the board is identifiable by its dark metallic green markings. The circuit board number DS3800DFPF is stamped on the board along with General Electric’s label with U.S.A underneath to show where it was made.
