About the DS3800DFXB
The DS3800DFXB board component is a printed circuit board (PCB) from General Electric’s Mark IV Speedtronic control system. The Mark IV is one of several Speedtronic control systems specially designed for the management and protection of industrial gas and steam turbine systems. It was the first TMR (triple modular redundant) Speedtronic system.
The Mark IV system offers several basic control options for the turbine systems it works with, including sequencing. It can crank the turbine and bring it to purging speed, fire it, and safely bring the unit into working operation. Once there, the MK IV system is capable of synchronizing the workings of the turbine and offering ongoing protection.
The DS3800DFXB board functions as a regulator board. It maintains constantly fixed output voltages to the system regardless of transients or changes in load. The DS3800DFXB has factory-drilled mounting holes located at each board corner. The few components on the board surface are widely spaced and include resistor network arrays, capacitors, PTH (plated through holes), and EEPROM chips. The board also has a single connector located along the front board edge. This has an extending ribbon connector. Refer to manuals for more information.
This board weighs approximately 0.14 pounds. Your shipping weight will vary depending on the packing material. We offer expedited options if you need the board faster than standard ground will allow for. Local customers are welcome to arrange for pickup here at our Wake County (NC) facility. Please let us know you are coming and what you are picking up before you arrive. This significantly decreases your wait time.
