About the DS3800DFXX
The DS3800DFXX is an interface card for the Speedtronic Mark IV series by GE. The interface card is what is used to connect the computer to the computer's network. The DS3800DFXX interface card has well over one-hundred components. There are eighteen (18) tiny yellow diodes across the board. There are also eight larger diodes near the board’s center. There are twenty-two orange diodes with black markings. The board has six light blue diodes. The DS3800DFXX also features five light yellow capacitors of different sizes. The board also has five metal capacitors. The board also has two male ports on either side of the board for easy connection. It also features a female port on wide ribbon wire. There are eight EPROM which are programmable components. The board also has two non-programmable components called EEPROM. There are seven pairs of metal prongs next to each other. These are called Jumper ports. There is a red cover that can be moved between the ports. This changes how the current flows across the board. The DS3800DFXX has around eight-seven resistors. Each has different color banding to show their power loads. There is a small battery in a corner of the board as well. There are ten black semi-circular transistors on the board. There are five circles that allow for the board to be connected to another board or plate. Each piece on the board has a white box around it and is labeled accordingly.
