The GE Regulator Turbine Control Board DS3800DGRA1E1C is designed for secure and easy installation in the drive. The board features one hole in each corner for installation using screws. The GE Regulator Turbine Control Board DS3800DGRA1E1C also is populated with 1 trimmer resistor and multiple potentiometers with dial settings. The board is also populated with multiple wire terminals and multiple jumpers.

The GE Regulator Turbine Control Board DS3800DGRA1E1C receives control signals from other boards and components in the drive. Once received the signals are processed before being transmitted to other boards in the drive. It might happen that the control signals are unreadable. This can occur if the control signals are out of sequence or have been corrupted by power cable signals or interference from other equipment near the drive.

The board is equipped with a restart button that can resolve the issue. When the restart button is pressed, processing ceases on the board for a few seconds. This gives time for the control signals to restart and resume in sequence. However, power remains in the board during the restart. This allows the drive to start processing as soon as the board restarts.

The control signals are sent and received by the GE Regulator Turbine Control Board DS3800DGRA1E1C through the 40-pin connectors. The connectors have retention latches that hold the ribbon cable against the connector. To install a ribbon cable, swing the retention latches up and over the connector. Align the ribbon cable with the connector. Use 1 hand to press the ribbon cable into the connector.
