About the DS3800DGRC
The DS3800DGRC is a regulator circuit board made for gas generators. General Electric made this regulator board to be part of the Speedtronic Mark IV series of gas turbine controls.
The DS3800DGRC has three large yellow cylinder-shaped capacitors, as well as two medium-sized cylinder-shaped yellow capacitors and seven small yellow cylinder-shaped capacitors. This circuit board contains one larger black connector port and one smaller black connector port. There is one switch that is red and one switch that is black on the edge of the board in the middle of the black connector ports. On one half of the board is an assortment of jumper pins with blue jumpers. These jumpers allow the operator to make any necessary changes to the board. The regulator board has a few small multicolored resistors with a striped pattern and small multicolored diodes. There are many small dark red resistors throughout the board. The DS3800DGRC regulator board is labeled in white lettering with the letters A through J on one of the longer edges of the regulator board.
The DS3800DGRC is a voltage regulator circuit board. Voltage regulators are used to manage voltage levels in an electrical system. A voltage regulators is required when unchanging voltage is necessary in a system. An unchanging voltage is created with a voltage regulator, staying constant no matter what changes with conditions and input voltage. Also, the voltage regulator performs as a buffer, as it protects the components from any damage caused by electricity.
AX Control will ship the DS3800DGRC in a static bag, which gets rid of any static electricity before the operator handles it for user safety. All troubleshooting or technical support for the GE circuit board would be handled by General Electric.
