About the DS3800DISA
The DS3800DISA is a GE printed circuit board (PCB) from the Mark IV Speedtronic series. This series has been created for steam and gas turbine control, and can be used for a variety of functions, including the sequencing of the turbine fuel and its auxiliaries for startup, for shutdown and cool down procedures, for the synchronization of the generator and the system, and for monitoring the turbine control and auxiliary functions. The DS3800DISA is a signal isolated auxiliary card.
The DS3800DISA is a small auxiliary board. It is marked 6BA02 to help refer the user to its corresponding motherboard. The DS3800DISA has the following specifications:
-
is factory-drilled at all corners
-
has six screw terminals positioned in two lines, four in one and two in the other
-
has 9 plugs numbered 1-9 located on its top edge, which act as connectors to a larger motherboard
-
is marked with a triangular logic buffer symbol
-
has two potentiometers, located side-by-side and labeled R1 and R2.
-
Two more resistor slots are labeled on the board. These two slots are designed for ceramic, metal film resistors.
The potentiometers on the DS3800DISA have different ratings. The first (positioned at R1) is marked 3069P-1-103 and has a resistance of 10,000 Ohms. The second (positioned at R2) is marked 3069P-1-503 and has a resistance of 50,000 Ohms.
Technical support for the DS3800DISA was originally provided by the manufacturer, GE. Please refer to published data sheets and manuals for installation and maintenance guidelines.
