About the DS3800DLCA1A1C
DS3800DLCA1A1C is a printed circuit board, or PCB, manufactured by GE as part of the Mark IV Speedtronic series. Mark IV is a gas and steam turbine control system specifically designed to cut down on the frequency and longevity of electronic failure-related shutdowns. GE created the microprocessors in this series to work together and have intentional overlaps/redundancies. If one fails, the others seamlessly take over its load, and the user is able to diagnose and repair the issue with no loss of service. The DS3800DLCA1A1C is a load comm converter board.
The DS3800DLCA1A1C has been drilled in each corner. It is marked with a logic buffer symbol (a triangle, between the comm connections and the edge of the board) as well as the codes "6BA03," "DLCA," and 6DA02" at the edge of the board. The DS3800DLCA1A1C has one test point ring--marked TP12--positioned on the edge of the board near the comm connections. There is one ribbon cable connector with the marking 218A4559-P22.
The DS3800DLCA1A1C has six comm connections. These are labeled BJ1 to BJ6 to the side of each connection. To the top of the comm connections there is an "open com" label and at the bottom a "COV" label. The DS3800DLCA1A1C has five capacitors that are marked 70801 and three different kinds of resistors. There is one potentiometer for variable resistance/voltage division. The potentiometer has the marking 3069P-1-203 20A.
GE provided technical support for the DS3800DLCA1A1C and other Mark IV components. Please reference the original data sheet and manual for safety procedures and installation guidelines.
