About the DS3800DVRC1A1A1A
The DS3800DVRC1A1A1A is a regulator circuit that is part of the Mark IV Speedtronic Turbine series from General Electric (GE). The DS3800DVRC1A1A1A has a mind boggling amount of intricate parts. There are a set of twelve metal resistors all different sizes to dissipate various amounts of high energy. There are close to eighty small red resistors which are branded with fluctuating bands of color. These bands identify each resistors energy capacity. For easy connection, there is a wiring harness that is a wide ribbon-like shape with a connector on either end. The board has a total of five electronically erasable programmable read-only memory's also known as EEPROMs. These pieces serve individual purposes but cannot be changed or reprogrammed to perform a different task. A sixth EEPROM can be added to the board if the operator feels it's necessary in a small sixteen-point section on the board labeled "SPARE". There are also three Potentiometer or variable resistors on the board. These are identified by the dark knobs with white hash marks and numbers. The knob starts at zero and goes up to one-hundred, with ten digit interval dashes in between. There is a small arrow on the face of each knob as well. The energy flow of the circuit board can be adjusted and changed by moving each Potentiometer or variable resistor knob to varies positions.
