About the DS3800HA1C
The DS3800HA1C is a PCB created by GE for the Mark IV series. This series is a gas/steam turbine management system created by GE. It has several integrated microprocessors that work nonstop to guard the turbine from issues like vibration, high pressure, and over speed. As compared to earlier GE Speedtronic systems, the Mark IV has improved application flexibility, an enhanced operator interface, and improved reliability.
The DS3800HA1C is built with two trim potentiometers located in one corner. It also has five resistor network arrays. Both of these components can be used as voltage dividers for power functions. Resistor arrays may also be used in several other ways, including as a terminal for SDRAM and DDRAM. The board has ten TP test points and ten jumper switches. Jumpers allow for some customization of the board, as they allow the end user to finish off circuits as they choose by placing the jumper on two of three (sometimes more) shunt pins.
The DS3800HA1C has forty circuits populating the board. All circuits are marked. The board has three mating connectors, including one 218A4553-1 A/mp connector and two 10-pin right-angled male connectors. The mating connectors are located opposite each other on the short-dimension edges of the board.
The DS3800HA1C is marked A through J on one edge. It is factory drilled in each corner. Extractor clips have been inserted.
