About the DS3800HACB
The GE Turbine Control Board DS3800HACB features multiple pins that are connected through fine wires wrapped around the pins. The GE Turbine Control Board DS3800HACB also is populated with 11 jumpers for configuring the board and 1 20-pin connector.
The GE Turbine Control Board DS3800HACB is engineered with features to make it easy to install in the drive and remove from the drive. The board slides into the board rack in the interior of the drive. The modular connectors at the bottom of the board align automatically with the connectors in the drive and make a secure connection. Retention levers are on the top of the board and they secure the board in the rack.
1 20-pin connector is located on the top edge of the board and you can attach a 20-pin ribbon cable to it after the board is installed. When you plan to remove the board, first disconnect the 20-pin ribbon cable and move the cable out of the way. Avoid tugging on the ribbon cable while it is attached to the board. This can damage the connector and disconnect the wires from the connector on the end of the ribbon cable.
The 11 jumpers are useful for configuring the board for your specific requirements. The jumpers each have an ID. Some of the jumper IDs are RST1, RST2, FRZ1, and WRD3. When you replace the board use the same jumper setting on the replacement board as were applied to the old board.
