Product Description

The DS3800HCMP is a Mark IV component used as part of that GE Speedtronic Turbine Control system.  The Mark IV is significant because it was the first of the Speedtronic systems to offer a triple modular redundant design.  This design significantly increased the reliability of the turbine control system. 

The DS3800HCMP board functions as a display driver/controller module.  AX Control has several controller modules available within our on-hand stock.  Please be sure you are ordering the correct board for your application needs. 

The DS3800HCMP is factory drilled at each corner.  Two of these factory drilled holes have extractor clips inserted within them.  Extractor clips offer the user a simpler way to pull the board from its location when it is time to change out the component or when it needs to be removed for maintenance.  Additionally, extractors help hold the board in place after it has been inserted into the rack system.  

The DS3800HCMP is populated by a long backplane on its rear edge.  The front edge includes two right-angled connectors, with several LED indicators also placed along this board edge.  Between these edges, the board is populated by a number of integrated circuits, resistor network arrays, jumper switches, and other components.
