About the DS3800HCVA1C1F
The GE Digital to Analog Output Board DS3800HCVA1C1F features a modular connector for attachment to a drive and retention levers to hold the board in the drive. The GE Digital to Analog Output Board DS3800HCVA1C1F also is populated with 14 jumpers, and 2 amber indicator LEDs. The board also has 3 connectors accessible from the front of the board, and 4 trimmer resistors.
The 2 amber LEDs are situated so that the operator can view them while the drive is in operation. When the LEDs are flashing, it indicates that processing is taking place. If the LEDs are not flashing, it indicates that processing is not taking place and a problem might exist with the board. If you suspect a problem with the board, access the diagnostic tools which can provide detailed information about the health of the drive and generate a list of any errors or warnings that have occurred. If the drive has been automatically shut down because of an overcurrent situation, the diagnostic report will provide the details. An automatic shutdown caused by an over temperature situation is also listed. Also, if the drive is shutdown because of an overload condition, it will be listed in the report.
You can view the report on the 2-line display on the control panel. You can also download the report to a laptop or other device. A serial port on the drive can be connected to a serial port on the laptop. You can save the report file and keep it as record of the drive activity.
